Kiefer Sutherland was formally been charged by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office on Friday with two misdemeanor counts of DUI. His court date is set for Oct 16.
The 24 star faces up to one year in county jail if convicted and a $1,000 fine.
Sutherland was arrested on suspicion of driving under in the influence during the early morning of Sept. 25 in Hollywood. After leaving the hot nightclub Area, Sutherland made an illegal U-turn, which prompted nearby officers to pull him over and give him a sobriety test, which he failed.
