Singer Kelly Rowland collapsed while onstage during a performance in Lagos, Nigeria early Sunday. The cause for her collapse was dehydration, her rep, Yvette Noel Schure, said in a statement.
Rowland, 26, formally of Destiny’s Child, was performing as part of The ThisDay Music Festival in the West African Nation.
Rowland was rushed to an undisclosed Lagos hospital to be check out and was reported to be in “good condition.”
The singer released her second solo album, Ms. Kelly, and is expected to return to the U.S. on Monday to continue touring to promote the album.
