Katie Holmes has tried desperately to keep daughter Suri out of the spotlight, but all her work may have been for nothing — because a spy said the 11-year-old wants to be an actress!
Following in her famous parents’ footsteps, Suri — whose father is Tom Cruise — has her heart set on making it big in Hollywood, and the former “Dawson’s Creek” star has decided to support her daughter’s dramatic desires.
“This is not what Katie wants, but Suri is old enough now to start trying different things, so Katie’s been tutoring her on all things thespian,” spilled the confidant to The National ENQUIRER.

Since Suri expressed extra interest in performing in plays, the mother-daughter cuties have become regulars at Broadway shows, including “Dear Evan Hansen” and “‘Finding Neverland.” Katie believes that Suri should be exposed to the stage to help her learn the craft.
“She wants Suri to be known for her skills, not her name or her looks — so she’s also signed her up for one-on-one classes with a top-tier New York acting coach,” confided the mole. “Suri is also getting singing and music classes. Katie figures if her daughter is going to do this, she should do it right.”
