KATIE HOLMES B’WAY TRAUMA

description

While Tom Cruise was pressing flesh at the opening of wife Katie Holmes All My Sons preview, an anti-Scientolo protest reigned on the streets of New York.

Carrying placards saying "Scientology is a Cult" and "How many more must die?" many masked V for Vigilante protestors chanted "Free Katie" outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

"We aren’t protesting Katie," said an Anonymous demonstrator. "But Scientology is a cult and once you become a member you can’t leave, and we’ve heard that Katie isn’t able to leave because of Tom Cruise."

Meanwhile Tom greeted his fans inside the theatre as the multitudes swarmed over King Scientolo causing the curtain rising to be delayed by ten minutes to douse the moths from the light that is Cruise.

Theatre goers discovered Katie was in full Joey Potter Dawson’s Creek mode – lovely and charming despite the pressure.

"I’m very proud," Tom naturally enthused.

The official opening is October 16 and stars B’way heavy hitters John Lithgow and Dianne Weist and, of course, Katie in the small but pivotal role of Miss Ballyhoo.
