Royals fear KATE MIDDLETON kidnap plot so she’s begun an intensive personal protection course, according to reports.

Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge, 29, kicked up the survival training because she is now a high profile citizen of the world since her historic wedding to Prince William.

On one hand she now has a new legion of fevered fans, on the other; UK officials fear she is now a potential target for stalkers, abductors and terrorists.

Kate’s course, both physically and mentally, has been labeled “very tough”. The intense program teaches vital range of survival skills including becoming more aware of your surroundings, spotting anything “unusual” in routine settings, how to react defensively when attacked and how to psychologically build a dominant relationship with kidnappers or hostage-takers.

Survival students are also taught how to drive vehicles under mounting pressure and how to create coded ciphers to transmit rescue information.

Scotland Yard’s personal protection squad, the SAS, or British Intelligence officers from MI5 have instructed other Royals and VIPS who work in volatile hot zones worldwide.

Queen Elizabeth, Prince William and his parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana have all taken the specialized training.
