Kate Gosselin’s ready to bring out “The Spanker!”
Kate’s frustrations in raising sextuplets and twins are revealed in Robert Hoffman’s shocking exposé, “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World,” which excerpts the 40-year-old mother’s private journals from 2006 and 2007.
Also, in one of her entries, Kate allegedly wanted to adopt a Korean baby!
“I have always had the idea to adopt from Korea and the idea is not going away, nor the desire!” she purportedly wrote on Dec. 24, 2006.
Among the more harrowing entries by TLC’s “Kate Plus 8,” star is from July 26, 2006, when she admitted spanking daughter Mady, then just 5.
Less than three months later, “horrible mother” Kate admitted to being “absolutely awful” to son Collin, then 2.
“I am too rough with him and the girls see that — I feel so guilty that I treated him like that I will set out tomorrow to be a better mommy,” she wrote.
Another sextuplet, Joel, then 2 as well, was not spared Kate’s wrath when he climbed out of his crib.
“I heard him getting into drawers, I went up and spanked him and put him back in … when nap was really over, I left him in his crib till after we had already gone downstairs … I want him to know that I am serious and that I will not tolerate crib climbing!!!!!” she wrote.
None of the sextuplets was safe from Kate’s pain-inducing palm as she admitted to spanking all six at once — after they were caught playing with tissues!
In 2007, Kate wrote she was “so so angry” with troublemaker Collin after he knocked three high chairs. She “grabbed him and spanked him as hard as I could and thought I may seriously injure him so I sent him to his crib … And whipped him into it very hard!”
