KARDASHIANS matriarch KRIS JERNNER Jenner has dropped a whopping $250,000 on plastic surgery in a relentless quest to look as youthful as her bombshell daughters.
Friends of the 56-year-old nip-and-tuck addict say there’s no limit to how far the mother of six will go to erase the years. But, ironically, her age fixation is threatening to destroy her looks.
“Kris is obsessed with looking like she’s still in her 30s or 40s, but all the work she’s done to her face has backfired,” a concerned pal told The ENQUIRER.
“She’s starting to look like those horrible Beverly Hills women that everyone laughs at behind their backs. She looks fine from far away, but once you get close you can see all the work she’s had done.”
As THE ENQUIRER reported in June June, Kris’ family was so worried that her plastic surgery fixation had spun dangerously out of control that they begged her to stop. And a leading expert is amazed at the extent of her work.
California cosmetic surgeon Dr. Thomas Barnes studied Kris’ wedding photos from 34 years ago alongside recent pictures and was shocked by the change in her appearance.
“Kris is almost unrecognizable compared to photos of her at her wedding to Robert Kardashian,” Dr. Barnes told The ENQUIRER. “Multiple procedures over the years – totaling at least $250,000 – had to be done for her to achieve the look she has today.
“Most likely, she first went under the knife for a face- and neck-lift sometime around 2000,” said the expert, who has not treated the reality star.
Dr. Barnes believes Kris would have had to repeatedly “freshen up” her face at enormous expense since then to achieve her current look.
“I’d call it ‘Keeping Up with Beauty,’” he quipped.
A cheek augmentation and mid-face-lift could run between $5,000 to $10,000 each, cheek implants $4,000 to $6,000 each and brow-lifts $5,000 to $10,000. Meantime, a complete face- and neck-lift can cost up to $35,000.
“It also appears she had a chin implant and nose shaping to thin and lift her nose tip and slim down the top,” noted Dr. Barnes. “The cost is staggering. Some experts charge upward of $35,000 to $50,000 for one procedure alone.”
But the expense apparently means nothing to Kris, who brings in millions a year managing the Kardashian empire.
“Kris says it’s her money and she’ll do whatever she wants,” said the pal, “even if it means permanently changing her appearance.”
