KANYE WEST UPDATE: MOM’S DOC REFUSES LARRY KING INTERVIEW

Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who says he operated on Kanye West‘s mom Donda West before she died Nov. 10, walked off the set of Larry King Live Tuesday night. Adams had agreed to speak about the situation on Larry King‘s talk show, but after sitting down for the interview the doctor said West’s family asked him not to appear on the show.

“I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on,” Adams said. “And I’ve said from the very beginning, I don’t have a side in this. They are my side and so I’m going to respect their wishes. When they’re comfortable, then I’ll be comfortable. If they’re never comfortable, then I’ll never be comfortable. They are what’s important to me. I said that from the start and that’s what I’ll continue to honor.”

On Tuesday, Kanye paid his final respects to his mother at a funeral held in Spencer, Okla. Celebs like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Erykah Badu, Pharrell Williams, John Legend and Anita Baker attended. According to Entertainment Tonight, Kanye spoke at the church, saying he wanted his mom not to “rest in peace, but rest in paradise.”
