“THE BIG BANG THEORY” star Kaley Cuoco wants to be a married mom by this time next year. That’s the REAL reason she raced to the altar for her surprise New Year’s Eve wedding to tennis player Ryan Sweeting!
“Kaley and Ryan are already working on making a baby,” a source told The ENQUIRER. “Actually, I think they have been for a while now.”
Kaley, 28, and Ryan, 26, tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in front of 150 friends and family at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susanna, Calif., on Dec. 31.
Among the guests was “Big Bang Theory” co-star Johnny Galecki, whom Kaley dated secretly for two years.
The actress wore a bright pink Vera Wang gown for the nuptials, which began at 10 p.m., so she and Ryan could ring in 2014 as a married couple.
“Kaley wants a child in the worst way,” said the source. “But she decided she wanted to have her baby as Mrs. Ryan Sweeting. That’s why she threw together a quickie ceremony on New Year’s Eve.
As The ENQUIRER reported in early October, Kaley – who plays ditzy waitress Penny in the CBS sitcom – was ready to get pregnant even before tying the knot.
Insiders said the actress gushed about having a baby while cooing over an infant at a fundraiser for the children’s charity Shane’s Inspiration in Los Angeles on Sept. 29.
Not long afterward, Kaley went on the Internet to deny rumors she was expecting.
But she also told reporters that it would be some time before she got hitched to Ryan, who earned just $23,900 playing tennis last year compared to Kaley’s $350,000 paycheck per episode.
“We are too busy to make wedding plans,” Kaley insisted. “In a year we’ll start talking about it.”
Clearly, there’s been a change of plans – and now the source says the happy couple hopes to ring in next New Year’s with a brand-new bundle of joy.
