JUDGE SEDATES EX-RAMONE

A Federal Judge buried ex-Ramones drummer, Richie Ramone’s copyright infringement suit in a “pet sematary”.
Judge Shira Scheindlin said there was no merit to the former drummer’s claim he never okayed digital usage of the six songs he penned while a member of the iconic punk rock group, The Ramones.
Richie Ramone, a.k.a. Richard Reinhardt, who stood in for drummer Marky Ramone from 1983 - 1987, was seeking $1 million in damages from Wal-Mart, RealNetworks and Apple, Inc -- as well as the estates of deceased bandmates Johnny and Joey Ramone.
Sorry but no “Gabba Gabba Hey” for you, Richie.
