JUDGE: POLICE CAN KEEP DREW PETERSON’S STUFF

description

Judge Daniel Rozak decided Monday that authorities can hold on to the property they seized from Drew Peterson when executing search warrants. In an effort to reclaim his vehicles, guns and other belongings, Peterson’s attorneys argued that the search warrants were overly broad and that police should be done examining them by now. The judge disagreed but decided to periodically review the issue. Another hearing was set for Jan. 25.

In another twist, Peterson’s lawyer Joel Brodsky submitted a letter to Judge Rozak asking for a special prosecutor to investigate possible leaks of grand jury testimony.

Drew Peterson is a suspect in the October disappearance of his wife Stacy Peterson. Drew claims Stacy ran off with another man.
