Jon Gosselin‘s money is running out and so is his girlfriend!
Hailey Glassman stuck with Jon for one reason – to cash in on the pricey clothes, expensive jewelry and luxury trips he lavished on her, say sources close to the couple.
But with an arbitrator forcing the reality TV dad to account for his extravagant spending, Hailey has kicked Jon to the curb – for now.
"I think Hailey is a gold digger, and she always has been," said an insider who knows her well.
"Jon bought her a brand- new Apple MacBook, an iPod and iPhone. Hailey had clothes from Barneys and Bergdorf’s, Louis Vuitton and Gucci purses, sunglasses, diamond jewelry, necklaces – lots of stuff with designer labels."
Jon, 32, is now locked in a bitter divorce battle with his wife Kate, 34. And insiders say Hailey – the 22-year-old daughter of Kate’s plastic surgeon – seems uninterested in the couple’s eight children.
"Hailey likes Jon’s children, but only from a distance. She sees them more as younger cousins or nieces and nephews," divulged another source.
"She never wanted to be married or to have kids. I believe she was just with Jon for the fame and money.
"Thanks to Jon, she got to live in an apartment in the city, drive a Mercedes SUV, and buy all the clothes and goodies she wanted. All she had to do was stand by Jon, and that’s what she did.
"But she finally got tired of his whining and complaining, and when she saw the money running out, that was the last straw."
And the source predicted: "If Jon’s got the money, Hailey will be right back."
Which may explain his launch of a massive $5 million countersuit against TLC who are suing him for breach of contract.
