JON & KATE & ABUSE

description

Jon Gosselin denies abuse charges (among other things).

Animals rights groups jumped all over the JK8 non-denial-denier after he said last week that the Gosselin 8 have tons of fun with family German shepherd pups, Shoka and Nala.

"(The kids) beat them up, climb on them, pull their tails, bite at them, drag them around and everything you can imagine not to do to an animal, they’ve done," Gosselin divulged.

THAT didn’t sit well with dozens of pooch pals who called in the Humane Society in Pa, to complain.

Jon quickly issued a statement to a waiting world.  "I’d like to set the record straight," he said. "We understand the responsibilities of being good dog owners. Whenever my kids are with Shoka and Nala, everyone is carefully supervised to ensure that no one – dog or child – is injured.

Local Berks County Humane Society backed him up, saying the dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and licensed.

"We have no credible reason to believe in (any) way that there is cruelty going on," a spokesman confirmed but also stated no one visited the Gosselin family compound to actually follow-up on the charges.

Meanwhile the Chicago Tribune reports no one wants to buy the JK8 former set – uh, home.

The 5-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath, Cape Cod-style house has been on the market for 89 days with no takers in Elizabethtown, Pa.
