Jon Gosselin is begging girlfriend Hailey Glassman to marry him, The ENQUIRER has learned.
The Hawaiian Eye for the Ladies has showered his tummy tuck doc daughter love, Hailey, 22, with expensive gifts, including a $14,000 diamond ring, sources say – but Hailey turned down his marriage proposal flat!
"Jon was shocked that Hailey said no," revealed a source close to the 32-year-old reality TV dad.
Even though marriage to Hailey would have to wait until Jon’s divorce from Kate is finalized – a battle that will be long and ugly – Hailey made it clear to Jon that she wants no part of matrimony.
"Hailey just said that they were in love and didn’t need to get married," said the source.
Hailey recently tweeted that she has no plans to tie the knot – to Jon or anybody else. She wrote: "FYI seeing everything go on I NEVER want to get married-LOL, no joke though. A commitment ring is good enough for me<lol."
Since Hailey started dating Jon, three women have claimed they were intimately involved with him – his former nanny Stephanie Santoro, 24, former "star" magazine reporter Kate Major, 26, and a Las Vegas party girl who said that she had a hook-up with Jon in August.
Jon’s confessed the affairs to Hailey, and now he seems to be trying to buy her love, said the source. "Jon’s spent at least $25,000 on her, and he just leased a Mercedes SUV for her," said the source.
"Hailey does care about Jon, but she feels trapped because he pays for everything, and when she tries to take a step back, he begs her to stay."
BUT with TLC now suing Jon for an undisclosed amount for breach of contract, Hailey may play it even cooler.
Especially in New York where they were eyeballed canoodling in a horse drawn carriage outside Central Park in near freezing temps over the weekend.
