Hollywood legend JOHN WAYNE's TRUE GRIT eyepatch goes on the block, The ENQUIRER has learned!
The iconic eyepatch that The Duke wore as Rooster Cogburn in the classic original oater True Grit is up for grabs as the iconic item of memorabilia from the 1969 western is expected to fetch a small fortune when Heritage Auctions offers it in Hollywood
It's a uber- auction in Hollywood in October as part of a sale of John Wayne's personal archive.
Also for grabs will be the movie great's cowboy boots, hats and his passport.
Proceeds from will benefit John Wayne Enterprises, which supports and funds the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.
Wayne famously died from lung cancer, after claiming to have "licked the Big C" in 1979.
