John Lennon First Wife Cynthia Dead

Beatle JOHN LENNON’s first wife CYNTHIA has died at age 75 from cancer, The National ENQUIRER has learned.

She died at her home at her home in Mallorca, Spain, her family said via statement.

John and Cynthia’s only child, Julian who bears a striking resemblance to his father was at her side when she passed.

Born Cynthia Powell in Blackpool, England she met the pre-Fab Four singer/songwriter at the Liverpool College of Art. They “met cute” at a lecture but their relationship was reputedly marred by John’s jealous rages.

In 1962 Cynthia became pregnant with John’s child and he quickly proposed.

During The Beatles meteoric rise, their iron-willed manager Brain Epstein tried to keep John’s marriage a secret so as to not “turn off” their female fans. Eventually, word got out and the teen-age girls screamed anyway.

John infamously left Cynthia for Yoko Ono during the summer of 1968 with a divorce following.

Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr mourned via Twitter, saying  “Peace and love to Julian Lennon God bless Cynthia love Ringo and Barbaraxx”
