Oscar nominated AARON SORKIN, who’s riding high with hit flick, The Social Network, is in secret talks with disgraced 2 time Presidential loser JOHN EDWARDS to tell HIS side of the story in forthcoming movie about the cover-up and conspiracy.
Newsweek reports that in preparing his latest film which is writing and adapting based on Edwards former loyalist Andrew Young’s inside account, The Politician, that Sorkin says he’s meeting with Edwards himself.
"Sorkin also says he’s been contacted by Edwards, who Sorkin expects wants to get his side of the story in the film. Sorkin acknowledged that Young had an axe to grind against Edwards, so it looks like Sorkin wants to offer a more balanced take in his film," the news-mag said.
With Sorkin injecting himself into the story just how objective will this account be now, their journo ponders.
And more telling, "What are the chances that John Edwards will tell Sorkin the truth, as opposed to what he has told virtually everyone else involved (his wife, newspaper editors, the American people) throughout this saga?"
Meanwhile the Federal Grand Jury investigating possible misuse of presidential campaign funds to buy a conspiracy of silence has already interviewed Edwards, his mistress Rielle Hunter and Andrew Young and has now widened their net subpoenaing more Edwards’ insiders and big money contributors including 100 year old heiress Bunny Mellon.
Reportedly, after nearly 2 years of digging and deposing, the Federal Grand Jury aided and abetted by FBI and US Treasury Agents, is expected to indict Edwards as The ENQUIRER first reported.
