Joey Buttafuoco‘s wife of two years has filed for divorce. Evanka Buttafuoco filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court asking for dissolution of marriage based on irreconcilable differences.
Joey Buttafuoco was released from a three-month stint in L.A. County jail on April 28. On May 4, Evanka told the New York Post, "I’m going to file for divorce. There’s been a turn of events." Her soon to be ex-husband told the paper, "All I can say is two words: I’m devastated. That’s all I can say. I’m very sad."
Coincidentally, Amy Fisher — who had an affair with Joey Buttafuoco and shot his wife in the head in 1992 — is separating from her husband, sources tell the New York Post.
