LOVE’s looking lovelier the second time around for JODIE FOSTER!
The talented Oscar winner, 50, recently met ex-girlfriend Cydney Bernard, 60, for coffee, and they seem as close as ever.
“Jodie and Cydney co-parent their two boys, so they spend a lot of time together as a family,” said the close source. “But for the past several months they’ve been secretly meeting for little ‘romantic dates’ to figure out whether they have a long-term future together.”
The two met on the set of the film 1993 film “Sommersby,” and lived together for 15 years. They have two sons – Charles Bernard Foster, 14, and Kit Bernard Foster, 11 – but have never revealed their paternity.
The couple split in 2008 after Jodie began an affair with writer-producer Cindy Mort.
But a year later, Cindy rekindled a romance with an old flame and left Jodie.
Jodie – who won Oscars for “The Accused” and “The Silence of the Lambs” – then got close to actress Cherry Jones, her co-star in “The Beaver.”
But she never stopped loving Cydney, said the source.
“For now, Cydney is taking things slowly,” the source added. “She doesn’t want to get her hopes up, and then have Jodie break her heart again.”
