Box office titans Jim Carrey and Will Smith went head-to-head this weekend and Jim came out on top!
Jim’s new comedy Yes Man opened at No. 1 with $18.2 million in ticket sales, beating out Will’s drama Seven Pounds which only earned $16 million.
Family flick The Tale of Despereaux came in third place with $10.5 million while previous box office winner The Day the Earth Stood Still and Four Christmases dropped to fourth and fifth place respectively.
