JIM CARREY FLIPS FOR HIS LEADING LADY -- AGAIN!

Published on: May 30, 2001

THERE HE GOES AGAIN! Jim Carrey has flipped for his latest leading lady just as he did with prior co-stars Renee Zellweger and Lauren Holly.

This time around Jim's honey is pretty blonde Laurie Holden, a Lauren Holly look-alike who's his co-star in the upcoming movie "The Majestic."

"It's classic Jim Carrey," declared a pal. "He always falls for the gals in his movies.

"Jim throws so much of himself into his roles that falling in love on the set comes naturally to him.

"People on the set began to notice the chemistry between Jim and Laurie while they were filming in Northern California.

"Jim plays a blacklisted screenwriter in the 1950s who loses his memory, moves to rural California and falls in love with a small-town girl.

"And his love for the small-town girl Laurie plays is carrying over into a real-life romance.

"Jim and Laurie are always standing close and they often have meals together and visit each other in their trailers.

"Since the production has moved to Los Angeles, the heat between Jim and Laurie has only increased.

"Cast and crew were aghast at the love scenes the onscreen couple had together on location on the Disney Ranch -- they were as torrid as they come!"

Said an insider: "For Jim, life is imitating art.

FAST FACT!
Like Jim, Laurie was raised in Canada.

"He worked with Lauren Holly on 'Dumb and Dumber' -- and fell in love with her.

"He worked with Renee Zellweger in 'Me, Myself & Irene' -- and fell in love with her.

"Now it's Laurie!"
