Eunice Kennedy Shriver, 88, JFK‘s sister is in critical condition at a Cape Cod hospital!

Maria Shriver‘s mother, Eunice has been weakened in recent years by a series of strokes has chosen to remain in Hyannis Port near the Kennedy family compound to stay close to beloved brother Teddy as his treats his brain cancer.

In a golf cart, Teddy accompanied by his wife Vicky and his beloved Portuguese water dogs headed toward the docks where the family sailboat is docked.

Eunice, a longtime champion of the disabled and founder of the Special Olympics, was praised by bother Ted on her website:  "She always strived to be the best, and she in many respects has made such an extraordinary difference in the lives of so many people around the world,"

Eunice is the fifth of the nine Kennedy children – brother Ted and Jean Kennedy Smith  are her sole surviving sibs in the ashes of Camelot.

Eunice is surrounded by family, friends and son-in-law Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger at her bedside as she battles for life.
