UPDATE: Cause of Jett Travolta‘s death listed as "seizure". No sign of trauma to the head says official death certificate.
The autopsy on Jett Travolta was completed at 12:30 PM by doctors with Travolta’s family physician in attendance.
John Travolta received permission from the Bahamian government for his personal physician to oversee the autopsy, lawmaker Obie Wilchcomb told AP.
Jett’s remains are now en route via hearse to Grand Bahamas’ Restview Memorial Mortuary for private viewing prior to burial.
According to The Ministry of Health in the Bahamas the findings may never be made public.
Dr. Herbert Minnis, a pathologist at Rand Memorial Hospital (where Jett Travolta was pronounced DOA) revealed that once the pathologists release their findings to the coroner, the family is informed.
Only the family has authority to release the results to the public.
It is uncertain at this juncture as to whether or not the Travoltas will.
2nd UPDATE: Jett’s body will be cremated after services.
