Jessica Biel is set to star as the lead in the romantic comedy Easy Virtue, based on the Noel Coward play.
Also on board are Colin Firth, Ben Barnes (Stardust) and Kristin Scott Thomas (The Golden Compass).
Easy Virtue is based on Coward’s 1924 three-act play, which Alfred Hitchcock was first to adapt into film with his 1928 silent movie of the same name. Biel plays a divorced American divorcée who travels to the South of France and marries a young Englishman (Barnes) on the spur of the moment. The couple returns to England to face his family, including his parents (Firth and Scott Thomas).
