JERRY SEINFELD ESCAPES INJURY FROM CAR CRASH

Jerry Seinfeld is one lucky guy! The comedian’s brakes gave out while he was driving his 1967 Fiat BTM in East Hampton, NY on Saturday and he lived to tell about it. Seinfeld swerved to keep the car from careering into an intersection and ended up flipped over just yards from the highway. The maneuver “probably avoided a very serious accident,” according to East Hampton Town Police Chief Todd Sarris.

“It could have been a lot worse, obviously, and thank God it wasn’t. He’s fine,” Seinfeld’s wife Jessica told the New York Post. “He was a little shocked when he walked in and it started to dawn on him what happened.”

But Seinfeld did what he does best: made a joke about the situation! “Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do,” he told the Post. “It is not something I plan to make a habit of.”
