Failing funnyman Hollywood icon JERRY LEWIS rushed to the hospital moments before going onstage!
Lewis, 85, abruptly canceled a Downer Under show in Sydney, Australia and was rushed to the ER minutes before he was skedded to perform.
Lewis, on tour repoping the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of Australia, performed at a gala dinner in Brisbane Wednesday night.
"In unforeseen circumstances Jerry was not well enough to take the stage," MDA CEO David Jack told disappointed ticket holders.
Ongoing struggles with excruciating pain arising from a debilitating back condition, heart issues and pulmonary fibrosis caused Jerry to suddenly retire as the perennial Labor Day host of the MDA's telethon.
Fans fear the worst.
