Moments before handing TOM CRUISE an award, JERRY LEWIS collapsed and was rushed to the hospital in New York.
The famed funnyman, 86, was set to hand off an award to Cruise at the exclusive Friar’s Club in New York when the comedy legend collapsed.
Jerry was supposed to get an award himself – The Friars Club Entertainment Icon Award as well as present a trophy to Cruise when he was stricken, The NY Post reported.
Jerry’s OK though – he collapsed because of low blood sugar.
Evidently, Jer was in need of a nosh.
