JERRY LEWIS: NOT DEAD YET!

Despite health issues, fabled funnyman JERRY LEWIS, 86, is back in action.

In his first film role since 1995′s Funny Bones, the original wackyland kid starts work tomorrow lensing a new flick.

Deadline.com reported that Jer’s new flick is called “Max Rose” and Lewis plays a jazz pianist whose wife of over 50 years dies.

A shocking revelation causes Max to believe his marriage was a sham, embarking on a remembrance of things past.

Jerry toplines and his list of co-stars include the legendary Claire Bloom, Kevin Pollak,  Kerry Bishe and satiric wit Mort Sahl.

Both Mort and Jer did some classic TV together on Lewis’ old variety show in 1963.

POP FYI: The last film Jerry starred in was Martin Scorsese’s “The King of Comedy”  way back in 1983 with some guy named Robert DeNiro.
