There’s a gay secret behind actor Jeremy Renner’s divorce from wife Sonni Pacheco, The National ENQUIRER has learned.

Court documents obtained by The ENQUIRER revealed that “The Avengers” hunk was busted in 2000 for trespassing in a Beverly Hills park well known for homosexual hookups!

Despite his repeated denials, “gay rumors have dogged Jeremy for years,” a source close to the actor said.

“He can’t avoid them! Now that this has been uncovered after his 10-month-old marriage went kaput, they will all come bubbling up again!”

After being nabbed for trespassing in Greystone Park in October 2000 and giving cops a false name, according to the court records, Jeremy pleaded guilty a month later on the misdemeanor charge.

Jeremy received a suspended sentence with 12 months of summary probation that included one day in jail, a $100 fine and 40 hours of community service. He was also told to stay away from Greystone Park, and to only use his real name with government and police officials.

The gay rumors caught fire in 2010, when Jeremy’s early acting coach, Melanee Wyatt, said: “I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy’s boyfriend, but the fact that Jeremy is gay has never been a primary concern.”

During a post-Oscars celebratory interview, “Today Show” co-host Meredith Vieira joked of a hug between Jeremy and his “Hurt Locker” co-star, Anthony Mackie,
saying: “There was a lot of man lovin’ going on last night.”

In February 2013, The ENQUIRER reported that Jeremy was living with both his close friend, Griffin Hadley, and his then-pregnant baby mama, Sonni.

Jeremy had met the stunning beauty, a 22-year-old model, on the Vancouver set of “Mission: Impossible –Ghost Protocol,” where she was working as a stand-in.

In March 2013, they welcomed a baby girl, Ava Berlin Renner, and secretly wed in September of that same year.

The use of “fraud” in the divorce filing may be in reference to the persistent gay rumors that have plagued the A-lister.

“What better way to void out their prenup by claiming ‘fraud’ in the marriage?” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
