AS rumors swirl she’s now dating DWTS’ MAKISM CHERMERKOVSKY, there’s no doubt JENNIFER LOPEZ is on a manhunt!
The three-times-married beauty just dumped her toy boy Casper Smart – but she’s already huddling with friends to compile a “wish list” of candidates to be her new leading man, say sources.
Rather than mourn the end of her two-year romance with the 27-year-old choreographer/dancer in late May, Lopez, 44, is said to be optimistic that the next “Mr. Right” is right around the corner.
“You have to admire Jennifer – she doesn’t spend a lot of time licking her wounds when it comes to romance,” declared a friend.
As The ENQUIRER reported, the relationship exploded after two transsexuals came forward to claim that they exchanged flirty messages and sexy photos with Casper. One, 25-year-old Xristina Marie, reportedly claimed that she met with Casper in Miami and that they “fooled around” in a car.
Casper has vehemently denied the relationships, but Jen’s friends say that she’s already put him in her rear-view mirror and is now confident she can reignite her love life. Potential matches include former flame Sean “Diddy” Combs, longtime friend Jamie Foxx, hot model David Gandy, A-list actors Ryan Gosling and Jared Leto – plus Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, who dated J.Lo briefly in 2011. But the biggest surprise on the list is Tom Cruise!
Jennifer has known the 51-year-old actor for nearly 10 years, says her friend, and she is said not to be concerned about his dedication to the Church of Scientology because her dad is a longtime Scientologist.
“What’s more, Tom seems to have a thing for Latin girls,” said the friend. “He dated Penelope Cruz for years and also had a romance with Sofia Vergara.”
Jen’s friends have also suggested younger actors – Cooper, who’s 39, and Gosling, 33. But she crossed them off the list because they are involved with other women.
“Jen is not going to try to shove herself into somebody else’s life when they’re with someone else,” noted an insider.
The idea of rekindling a romance with record mogul Combs, 44 – who dated the “American Idol” judge from 1998 to 2001 – could also be problematic, revealed the friend.
The busy mom told pals she’s “afraid she couldn’t keep up with Sean” and his 24/7 party lifestyle because of her parenting responsibilities to 6-year-old twins Max and Emme, by ex-husband Marc Anthony.
A better bet to capture her heart is 46-year-old Foxx, say insiders.
The pair have been friends since 1990, when Lopez got her big break on the TV sketch comedy show “In Living Color,” which featured Foxx.
What’s more, they both love kids. Foxx, who’s never been married, is a doting dad to his daughters Annalise, 4, and Corinne, 20, from previous relationships. But the list doesn’t end there.
J.Lo's pals also note that the flirty singer hit it off with 34-year-old hunky British model Gandy when the two shot a music video for her song “First Love” earlier this year.
Jen can also picture herself making beautiful music with 42-year-old Oscar winner Leto, who used to date Cuban-American star Cameron Diaz, say sources. Jen loves to shake it up to the sounds of Jared’s rock band, 30 Seconds To Mars.
“Out of everyone, Jared is the guy Jennifer would most like to know,” revealed her friend. “In any case, she isn’t going to be sitting on the sidelines long!”
And yet the latest contender seeks be twos-stepping Maks from DWTS and that may be a tango to remember.
