The “Friends” beauty, 42, was hot to star in “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner’s upcoming yuk fest “You Are Here,” insiders say.
But producers have targeted a new leading lady, “(500) Days of Summer” cutie Zooey Deschanel, who at 31 is 11 years Jen’s junior.
“Jen is incredibly upset because it appears that she’s been passed over for this part,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“She made no secret of the fact she really wanted it, but now Zooey is in demand as the younger, quirkier girl-next-door type.
“Jen will have to accept the fact it’s probably not meant to be.”
