JENNIFER ANISTON’s wedding is a no-go again thanks to to fiancé Justin Theroux’s booming career, a source says.
The dashing actor/screenwriter, 41, is starring in the HBO pilot, “The Leftovers,” and now he’s saying he’s too busy to walk down the aisle!
“Jen and Justin’s marriage plans are on hold,” said an insider.
“Justin swears up and down that he loves Jen dearly, and he’ll make her his wife, just not right now.
“But Jen isn’t a happy camper over taking a backseat to Justin’s career.”
The former “Friends” beauty, 44, and Justin got engaged last August. As The ENQUIRER has reported, Jennifer was putting the final touches on a prenuptial agreement that would protect her $150 million fortune.
The couple had reportedly set a spring wedding date and settled on designs for their wedding bands.
But between dealing with extensive renovations on their $21 million mansion in Bel-Air, Calif., and his packed work schedule, Justin told Jen that he’s too swamped to think about a wedding, said the source.
“Justin has always felt insecure about not being as successful or as rich as Jen,” added the source.
“So he started gunning for high-profile acting projects.
“When he landed the HBO pilot, Justin told Jen that he thought it’d be best if they postponed their wedding for awhile.”
While Justin has had a number of small roles in movies and on TV, he’s earned a reputation as a well-regarded screenwriter with scripts for “Iron Man 2” and “Tropic Thunder.”
“But he’s hoping the HBO show catapults him onto the A-list, and Jen is beginning to wonder if he’s getting cold feet,” said the source.
“She’s even accused Justin of piggybacking on her fame to boost his career.
“Justin is trying to soothe Jen’s insecurities, but what she wants more than anything is to become Mrs. Theroux as soon as possible.
