Jay cancels taping of show, hits ER!
The talk show titan canceled taping of The Tonight Show leaving guests Ryan Reynolds, Jules Sylvester and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to fend for themselves in the green room.
Jay’s rep confirmed the trip to Providence St Joseph’s Hospital: "A repeat of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno will air tonight as Mr. Leno is not feeling well…He took himself to the hospital because he wasn’t feeling well."
According to his rep, Leno remains in the hospital "for observation". The cause of his sudden malady is as yet unknown.
UPDATE: "Jay Leno is doing just fine. He was kidding around with the hospital staff and running his monologue jokes by the doctors and the nurses. He’s expected back to work on Monday," an NBC spokesperson stated earlier today.
