Sources say Janet has agreed to elope to Paris this Winter and exchange rings in a small, private ceremony.

"Jermaine told Janet that their dating period is heading toward expiration and he's insisting they make the big leap," a pal revealed.

Janet, who's been married -- and divorced -- twice before is terrified about making another mistake.

 But pals insist Janet knows Dupri is the real deal - at last.
