Jane Fonda has a new look to go with her new life!
The 72-year-old admitted she recently went under the plastic surgeon’s knife for a few nips and tucks – and she has a new, short pixie-style haircut to go with her fresh face.
The late-in-life makeover comes as Jane is rebooting her career and personal life with the filming of a new movie, a fitness DVD – and a wedding to her fiance Richard Perry later this year.
"Jane is beginning a new chapter in her life, so she wanted a fresh look," an insider explained to The ENQUIRER. "She’s been in semi-retirement for nearly two decades, but now that she’s back in movies she’s reprioritized. In Hollywood, looks still count.
"Jane’s life is going so well she feels 20 years younger, so she figured she might as well look it, too!"
The three-times-married star admitted the secret behind her new look at a Valentine’s Day party, according to reports.
"I just had some work done on my chin and neck and had the bags taken away from under my eyes," she said.
"I decided it would be good to get a new haircut so people will think it’s my new hair."
She previously has admitted to breast implants and a little nip and tuck.
Jane’s second career wind comes thanks to fiance Richard, a 67-year-old music producer, who
inspired her to get back to work.
Jane – the daughter of acting legend Henry Fonda – will return to the big screen with The Widows’ Adventures, co-starring Diane Keaton.
She’s filming a new line of fitness DVDs aimed at baby boomers, and she’s launching the first annual World Fitness Day in Georgia on May 1.
With so much on her plate, Jane’s had to push back her wedding from the summer to the end of the year.
"But with her new glow, Jane can’t wait to be a bride again," added the insider.
