JANE FONDA DROPS ‘C’-BOMB

description

Jane Fonda gave Today show viewers quite a Valentine on Thursday! The outspoken actress was on the morning show to talk about joining the cast of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues. Fonda used the C-word in a sentence while answering a question posed by NBC’s Meredith Vieira.

Vieira, who seemed to wince at the word, apologized to viewers after a news break. “We were talking about The Vagina Monologues and Jane Fonda inadvertently said a word from the play that you don’t say on television,” Vieira said. “It was a slip and obviously she apologizes, and so do we. We would do nothing to offend the audience. So please accept that apology.”

Today producers edited the program for the show’s West Coast edition.
