HOLLYWOOD golden girl Cameron Diaz is looking to bag a billionaire – and she’s enlisted the aid of Jane Fonda, who once reeled in moneybags media mogul Ted Turner.
The 40-year-old actress has told friends she’s “sick and tired of being the single party girl” and wants to remake her image so she can land a bankable beau, say sources.
Cameron has been in awe of Jane for years, and the two became buds after swapping phone numbers at a Paramount party in 2012, revealed an insider.
Now the statuesque beauty seeks Jane’s advice on everything from her career and image to men and dating.
“Cameron’s tired of playing the airhead blonde and wants to take the next big step in her life,” said the insider.
“Jane’s encouraging her to read up on politics and be more of an activist in the coming year. She’s convinced Cameron that will help her attract a seriously rich husband.”
The 75-year-old Academy Award winner is also encouraging Cameron to pursue automotive genius Elon Musk, one of America’s most desirable billionaires, say sources.
Musk, 41, is the co-founder of Tesla Motors, a line of electric vehicles, and the Internet payment service PayPal. Cameron – who’s dated a host of hunks including singers Justin Timberlake and Adam Levine and baseball star Alex Rodriguez – already has a flirty relationship with the businessman. But the two have never been unattached at the same time.
“Elon thinks Cameron is gorgeous,” revealed a source. “He personally sold her a Tesla earlier this year and they were flirting up a storm the whole time.”
