Actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler just revealed that she has been battling multiple sclerosis for the past 15 years — but the disease hasn’t stopped her from playing mobster Tony Soprano’s daughter on “The Sopranos,” or having a baby or even getting married last Saturday!

Jamie-Lynn got hitched to her fiancé of three years, Washington Nationals infielder Cutter Dyktsra — son of baseball great Lenny Dykstra — with whom she has a son, Beau, who was born in 2013.

The 34-year-old actress told People that she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder at 20, when she was still on “The Sopranos” and experiencing tingling and heaviness in her legs.

The tragic young actress said the illness has caught up with her in the last decade. “I can’t walk for a long period of time without resting. I cannot run. No superhero roles for me,” she admitted. “When I walk, I have to think about every single step, which is annoying and frustrating.”

Aside from confiding in her TV father, the late James Gandolfini, she mostly kept her diagnosis a secret. “I wasn’t ready until now,” Jamie-Lynn said. “You’d think that after all these years, somebody would be settled with something like this, but it’s still hard to accept.”

The newlywed takes twice-daily medication to help with her symptoms, saying, “Things are manageable now. It takes a fighting attitude to deal with all this.”

Multiple sclerosis is named for the sclere, or lesions, that appear on the white matter of the brain and spinal cord. The disease is twice as common in women as it is in men.
