"Charlie’s Angels” star JACLYN SMITH has a heavenly new pursuit – she has her sights set on the White House!

Fancying herself a new Jackie Kennedy, she is urging her heart surgeon husband – who lost a recent California congressional primary – to continue his quest for the Oval Office, say insiders.

“Jaclyn won’t stop pushing her husband until she’s in the White House, where she feels she belongs,” a friend told The National ENQUIRER. Jaclyn’s husband, Dr. Bradley Allen, has vowed to continue in politics, and he has the full backing of his wife, say sources.

“Brad is an ambitious man with a great career, but it’s Jaclyn who’s driving him right to Washington, D.C.,” said the friend. “She told him, ‘You’re a brilliant pediatrician, but you need to show what a true leader you are.’”

Jaclyn, 68 – who rocketed to fame as Kelly Garrett in the iconic ’70s detective show – has been married to husband No. 4, Dr. Allen, since 1997.

Sources say the Houston native has had the First Lady bug ever since she received a Best Actress Golden Globe nomination for her starring role in the 1981 TV movie “Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.”

“Jaclyn has always admired Jackie Kennedy,” said the friend.

“She has virtually channeled Jackie. She wears the Chanel style suits and hats, and it’s all because she wants to live in the White House. She’s determined to have her very own rose garden.”
