JACKO WINNERS THRILLED!

description

The ENQUIRER’s sensational Michael Jackson memorabilia sweepstakes turned into a REAL thriller as tens of thousands of fans swamped our offices with entries.

We chose two lucky readers in a random drawing who each win a rare personal keepsake worth thousands of dollars from the King of Pop himself.

The coveted prizes are hand-signed Michael Jackson albums – Thriller, the best-selling album of all time, and Bad, which has sold more than 30 million copies.

And the winners are…Jennifer Ball of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Christopher Contino of Staten Island, New York.

"I’m going to cry," said 30-year-old Jennifer when The ENQUIRER told her she’d won the Bad album.

"I’ve been a Michael fan since I was 5 years old – I’ve even traveled to Europe three times to see him perform in the 1997 History tour and the 1999 Michael Jackson and Friends tour."

Jennifer, who’s a counselor working with troubled kids in Salt Lake City, added: "This will be something so special to remember Michael by.

"I can’t put into words how I felt when he died – he was like part of my family, and it was one of the saddest moments of my life."

Christopher, 31, who sells real estate, told The ENQUIRER: "This is something really meaningful
because it was the Thriller album that hooked me on Michael’s music when I wasn’t long out of kindergarten.

"As happy as I am for winning, it’s really  bittersweet.

"There’d be no contest if MJ was still alive and I’d rather he was still making albums. I wished I could have met him but I feel VERY honored to have won as it preserves his legacy and music in my heart forever."

The ENQUIRER obtained the precious albums from one of the most reputable memorabilia dealers in the world – Grandstand Sports & Memorabilia Inc.

And as our Michael Jackson contest champs will tell you, it pays to read the ENQUIRER in more ways than WON.
