World famous primate expert JANE GOODALL charges MICHAEL JACKSON hid a dirty secret – his chimp BUBBLES was beaten and abused at the late singer’s Neverland ranch!
Goodall, who for years studied wild chimpanzees in Africa, says she confronted Jackson when she learned of the abuse and it “ticked him off.”
However, the scientist adds she never learned if Jackson – or someone else – was behind the battering.
Meanwhile, Jackson’s pals deny Goodall’s claims, saying the pet ape was treated like royalty.
Bubbles ate at the dining table with Jackson and could take Haagen-Dazs ice cream treats from the fridge whenever he liked.
But Jack Gordon, the late ex-hubby of Jackson’s sister La Toya, claimed the chimp, who now lives in a Florida animal preserve, was brutally beaten by the King of Pop.
“I saw Michael punch Bubbles, kick him in the stomach,” said Gordon. “Michael used to say, ‘He doesn’t feel it. He’s a chimpanzee. I have to discipline him.’ ”
