The 80-year-old has secretly been dating former CNN anchor Kathryn "Kitty" Pilgrim for years, sources told The ENQUIRER. Now the couple seems to be going public with their relationship.
In mid-June, Maurice and 55-year-old Kitty were photographed together near Maurice’s 70-foot yacht Relemar. And last August they were seen taking in romantic sunsets over Cuttyhunk Island off the coast of Massachusetts from the vessel’s upper deck.
Eyewitnesses say the couplealso has been strolling small fishing villages around Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., including Aquinnah, where Jackie’s Red Gate Farm is located.
The property is now owned by Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg.
"Those were Jackie and Maurice’s favorite stomping grounds," said a source. "And now Maurice is enjoying these same beautiful sights with Kitty."
Caroline is pleased that Maurice has found another stable relationship after her mom’s death, says a family friend.
And even though there’s a vast age difference, "it’s not hard to understand how Kitty could be won over by someone as suave and sophisticated as Maurice," added the friend.
"He’s an absolutely charming, intelligent man – with so many interests, especially in the arts and culture – that he was no doubt able to sweep Kitty off her feet just like he did Jackie."
