Karate Kid star JACKIE CHAN’s been a virtual stranger to his own family for decades, The ENQUIRER reveals.
The kung fu king, who kept his marriage secret for 13 years, works so much that he rarely saw his 27-year-old son growing up and has NEVER met the daughter he fathered out of wedlock.
And, according to the insider, the 56-year-old Hong Kong-based superstar spends little time with his Taiwanese-born actress-wife Joyce Lin Feng-Jiao, 57. The couple wed in 1982.
"While his wife manages two of Jackie’s companies, they are rarely seen out together – just the odd film premiere or social event," said the insider.
AND Jackie didn’t even reveal he was married until 1995 – because he didn’t want to upset his female fans.
"Women were so obsessed with him that Jackie had to surround himself with a battalion of bodyguards," explained the insider.
"One girl actually killed herself over Jackie! "
