ISAIAH WASHINGTON FINDS SUPPORT FROM GAY ACTIVIST

Recently fired from the ABC hit, Grey’s Anatomy for a homophobic remark Isaiah Washington is finding surprising support from gay activist Jasmyne Cannick. As the only Grey’s contract not to be renewed, Cannick states that ABC’s firing, “adds to a disturbing new trend” of minority actors, including Star Jones, Alfre Woodward, and Harold Perrineau, losing their jobs at the network, so she’s launched a petition urging Washington’s return.
