Cody Clawson was a 13-year-old Boy Scout when he was saved by a high-flying Harrison Ford.

Today he’s saluting the actor for surviving his own horrendous plane crash!

“I owe him my life,” Cody told The National ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview.

The lost teen had wandered from his campsite, and had spent a harrowing night alone near Yellowstone National Park when rescue forces went looking for him in July 2001 – with Harrison volunteering to fly in with his personal helicopter from his home in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

It was morning when a resourceful Cody used his Boy Scout belt buckle to signal the helicopter that he saw flying overhead.

“I was kind of out of it when one of the search and rescue guys told me, ‘You’ll never guess who’s flying the helicopter!’” said Cody.

“It turned out to be Harrison Ford, and that’s something I’ll never forget.”

Cody, now 26, was horrified after hearing about the star’s plane crashing. “I’m glad that he’s going to be okay, and my thoughts and prayers are with him,” he said.
