MARIA  SHRIVER could be saying “Hasta La Vista, Baby” to a long-awaited settlement on her $400 million divorce after revelations she was two-timing “The Governator” well before his affair with their housekeeper went public.

Shriver, 58, apparently began cheating on husband Arnold Schwarzenegger as early as 2006 when she began seeing 53-year-old Republican campaign strategist Matthew Dowd, according to a published report.

“Maria’s played the betrayed wife, but now it comes out she cheated as well,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER. “This could change their divorce settlement.”Maria introduced the twice-divorced Dowd as her new beau last month at the wedding of her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.But according to the report,
Shriver has been involved with Dowd since 2006 when he worked on Arnie’s re-election campaign in California. He’s denied the relationship began that early.

Shriver split from the 67-year-old “Terminator” star in 2011 after he confessed to a years-long affair and love child – now aged 16 – with the family housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

Meanwhile, Dowd has endured his own share of divorce heartache, according to documents obtained by The ENQUIRER. The politico’s first divorce from Tammy Lynn became final in 1991 with the couple agreeing to split assets, including their Texas home, property and possessions equally, and Dowd agreeing to pay $2,000 per month in child support for their three kids. He kept the 1991 Jeep Cherokee and she kept the 1990 Plymouth Voyager. In 2002, his second marriage began to crumble, when then wife, Nicole, gave birth to premature twin girls, one of whom died in the hospital two months later. His second divorce was finalized in 2005, and his ex-wife Nicole received $1 million. As her share of property settlement, plus $3,500 child support and $2,000 month alimony. She kept the 2005 Jaguar and he got the 2005 Dodge Pickup truck and the 2001 Jeep Cherokee.
