JULIA ROBERTS’ half sister Nancy Motes has finally confirmed what ENQUIRER readers have known for years – that the “Pretty Woman” star continually scolded her over her weight!

Making headlines in the U.S. and around the world, Nancy, 37, recently told an interviewer that her famous sibling teased her mercilessly about her appearance.

“When I was in High School and she was an adult, she would just let me know that I was definitely overweight,” said Nancy, who once weighed nearly 300 pounds. She added that it made her “feel incredibly hurt and very sad.”

ENQUIRER readers have known the weighty family history since 2011, when we first shared the story of the sisters’ bickering over Nancy’s expanding waistline.

“Julia’s made no secret of the fact that she’s not happy that Nancy’s gotten heavy,” said an insider at the time. “She thinks it’s humiliating for her and the entire family.”

We reported that tensions between the sisters came to a head at Nancy’s birthday party in May 2011 at their mother’s home in Pacific Palisades. When Nancy learned that Julia was making unkind comments behind her back, she shot back: “(Bleep) you!”

Due to the years of criticism, Nancy underwent gastric bypass surgery in June 2012 and now tips the scales at 155.

The ENQUIRER most recently reported that Julia, 45, planned to skip Nancy’s wedding to fiancé John Dilbeck next year because she hates the groom and doesn’t want to get stuck with the bill.

Said the source: “Now, with Nancy openly attacking her in the press, this just ices it.”
