INSIDE JENNIFER ANISTON’s FIRST DATE

She’s one of the richest and most desirable stars in the world now, but in 1989, Jennifer Aniston was just another struggling actress new to Hollywood.

The fresh-faced 20-year-old could barely scrape up enough cash to buy a cheeseburger when Eric Reynolds invited the future “Friends” star out!

“When Jennifer first moved to California, I went on a date with her,” Eric told The National ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview. “I guess that was probably when I was 28 or 29, and she was 20.”

The two had known each other for years since Jen’s mom, Nancy Dow, and Eric’s mother, Molly, who passed away in 1992, were best pals, he said.

“We went out to Westwood to a relatively nice restaurant,” Eric recalled. “I picked up the tab, of course! At the time, she had just gotten here and she had maybe just done a commercial or something, but she was still trying to make ends meet.”

Eric, now 54, also got the scoop on the “Horrible Bosses” star hooking up with Brad Pitt in 1998 before the two even went out!

“I went over to Nancy’s condo right before Jen met Brad,” he said. “She mentioned Brad’s agent had contacted Jennifer’s agent. I think this was probably before they’d actually even been on a date.”

As for their marriage ending amid rumors Brad cheated with his “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-star Angelina Jolie, Eric said: “I think Jen came away from her split with Brad looking like the bigger person. I think she handled it well. She’s a very
classy girl.”

While he and Jen never went out on another official date, single dad Eric joked that if things don’t work out for her and fiancé Justin Theroux, he’s still available!

Eric laughed: “I don’t know enough about Justin. I see a lot online, speculation that she’s pregnant or she’s getting married – I don’t know what to think. I’m waiting for Jennifer to come back around to me!”
