The wedding is off for “Melrose Place” co-stars Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner – because the busy beauty simply has no time to get married, say sources.
Heather, 50, stunned Jack when she abruptly ended their engagement after a four-year relationship.
“She told him she was ‘too busy right now’ to tie the knot,” revealed an insider close to the couple. “Heather said she was tied up with auditions for TV shows and overseeing her teenage daughter Ava’s modeling and acting career.
“Jack couldn’t believe it. He was furious! He angrily told her, ‘I’ve waited patiently for you all this time and now you tell me you’re too busy for me!?’ Then he stormed off in a huff.”
Heather – who has been married twice before, to rockers Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora – began dating Jack in 2007.
As The ENQUIRER previously reported, the 52-year-old actor popped the question to Heather twice, and she turned him down both times until finally accepting his proposal in September 2010. But they didn’t formally announce the engagement until August of this year.
The two were last photographed together in Hawaii in September. But the actress went solo to the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” premiere in Hollywood on Nov. 14 – without her engagement ring.
But Jack won’t be sitting around idly pining for Heather. He already has a “new woman” in his life – a long-lost daughter that was put up for adoption 23 years ago and he just met for the first time.
