Projectile spewing icon LINDA BLAIR comes clean about her doomed love with drug addled rocker RICK JAMES.
The possessed star was just 22 when she fell for the “Super Freak” chartbuster after spotting his photo in a magazine, The couple enjoyed a two-year friendship, although Blair remains quietly coy about just how freaky things got.
In a new film doc documentary, Rick James: Behind The Music Remastered, Linda confessed, "I wouldn't say that we were as romantic as people probably wished that we were, or thought that we were."
James wrote his hit "Cold Blooded" about his relationship with Linda.
She was thrilled, but a tad confused, "Cold Blooded is, 'You're hot!' Cold Blooded is a compliment. That was pretty nice that he wrote that about me. I don't see it, but Ok."
Blair and James drifted apart in 1984 as James' drug problems dominated his every waking hour and the once-possessed Blair decided she’d had enough.
"I could not bear to be around that,” she admitted.
It wasn't healthy for me and it wasn't healthy for him, so I chose after a while to walk away.”
Rick James was found dead August 6, 2004 from cardiac failure.
